Peer Review Process TCSJ Journal
Peer review and scientific control are applied to manuscripts submitted to the TCSJ Journal for publication.
Internal and external peer review are the two (2) stages of the blind peer review procedure. The primary objectives of the blind peer review process are to determine if an article should be published and to improve it before publication with the help of our top reviewers.
Internal Peer review
The editor-in-chief and members of the editorial team assess the article after it has been registered for publication in the journal. The entire procedure is supervised and guided by an editor.
The assigned editor scans the article using Sistem Antiplagiat.ro, an antiplagiarism program, to verify the article.
If the article passes the scanning procedure, it will be further reviewed in terms of the following:
• The approach's scientific level;
• The significance of the theme;
• Concise communication of concepts;
• The topic's uniqueness and level of novelty;
• Conclusions are formulated clearly;
• adherence to technical standards (English-language titles and abstract, as well as the English version of the titles in the bibliography).
The paper is sent for external blind peer review if it passes the internal peer review procedure.
Articles deemed unsuitable for the journal's profile or the broader scientific community will be turned down without being sent to external peer review.
External Blind Peer Review Process
Reviewers are chosen by the designated editor based on their lack of conflict of interest and subject-matter expertise. A minimum of three reviewers is assigned to the article. The complete manuscript, a deadline, and a review form are provided to the reviewers.
The reviewers are unable to access the author's data. The names of the reviewers are similarly unknown to the article's author or authors.
The following standards are used by the assigned reviewer to assess the paper:
• quality;
• originality;
• importance.
The author will be informed of the publication decision within 30 days of the article's submission.
After the review process, the authors receive an email with one of the following decisions: accept submission, ask for changes- required revisions, or reject it - decline submission.
The selected editor has access to the entire procedure.
The author must follow the email instructions based on the results.
If the author receives an "accept submission," they have until the deadline to email the completed article and all of their data in compliance with the template.
The author must make the required adjustments and send the completed work to the editor in accordance with the instructions for "required revisions."
In the event of a "decline submission," the author may submit the work again following changes.
